Description
The Assault rifle is long considered one of the most versatile weapons ever made. Our Assault rod model was our first foray into the production rod world. The goal was to build a very well rounded, all around model for a wide range of techniques and uses. After discontinuing the line in 2014 to be redesigned, we spent almost two years fully reworking the Assault into the powerhouse it is today. The Assault rod blank is our most responsive action rod today. Responsive actions and very stout backbone is what makes this rod model stand out from the rest. The ability to throw a wide variety of baits effortlessly
but having the power to turn fish from structure is a key component to what makes this rod special. Featuring black plated marine grade stainless steel (SS316) tangle free guides designed for long distance casting and reduction of wind knots. Custom designed cork and EVA grips with a short, flared out design for power casting and control. Unique to this model is the double locking nut reel seat with carbon fiber infused finger touch points, meaning sensitivity is right in the tips of your fingers and your reel should never back loose.
